Get Rid Of Spots Fast

It doesn’t matter whether you are a teenager or grown-up with acne, there is nothing more horrible than spots which usually tend to appear just out of the blue, or ones which you just can’t get rid of. If you cannot prevent zits, the big question is, how to get rid of spots fast?

Below is a short list of everyday things in your cupboard for treating those zits.

1 – Crush an aspirin and make a paste with water. Apply to the area with a cotton bud and leave it on overnight. This will reduce the inflammation and redness.

2 – Tooth paste has long been used as a quick remedy. Dab some normal toothpaste on the pimple at night time, but don’t use gel toothpaste. In the morning the toothpaste should have dried out the pimple and reduced it in size.

3 – Honey is a great natural remedy for acne. Honey is naturally anti-bacterial, so all you do is simply spread it over the skin as a mask and wash off after a few minutes.

4 – Eye drops are another method of reducing a spots size. They work by constricting the blood vessels in the eye to reduce redness and this is the same principle for pimples.

5 – Witch Hazel/Tea Tree oil have anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.  They are another great natural method for calming and reducing spots.  Just apply to the affected area.

 The Main Causes Of Pimples

Virtually every individual on this planet will probably suffer from blemishes at some point during their life. Even though there’s a fortunate number of people who will never have pimples or imperfections on their skin, the majority of us will probably suffer from breakouts of zits multiple times.

Causes of spots can be anything from family traits to anxiety, your menstrual cycle, or even what you are eating.  As well as this, it can also be blamed on touching your face too often, or not cleaning off make-up and dirt thoroughly.  Also, not changing your pillow cover regularly can cause spots to emerge as all of the oil and dirt on your face is transferred onto it whilst you are sleeping.

The main cause of pimples is when the sebum in the skin starts to block the pores, and the hair follicles become inflamed because of the oil and dirt.  The best thing to do is to try and keep the skin clean, and not to squeeze or pop the spots or pimples as this can make it worse by spreading the bacteria.  More information on how to get rid of pimples and keeping your skin clean and spot free can be read at
